Hi there fella. Two days ago I?ve posted a CAB installer accessed via the context menu. This time I?ll share with you another installer utility for Windows XP that is able to install Smartphone CAB file via mouse click (double-click).

[/url]
Features:
1. Standalone file which depends on ?CEAPPMGR.exe? process of Microsoft ActiveSync then based on the well-known CAB installation dogma: INI + CAB + CEAPPMGR ?> Installation
2. Free as in beer, virus-free file
3. Automatically logs file installations (failed or successful) to a separate file (Install Logs.txt)

To appreciate what this file can do?
Users who are new to Windows mobile-based Smartphone often ask why by clicking on a CAB, they get to see _setup.xml, XXX.001, YYY.002, ZZZ.003, etc. That is because by default, Windows XP (Explorer) opens CAB files (be it Smartphone or PPC CAB) instead of installing them. It literally opens another folder showing you the contents of the CAB.

CAB Install DCV on the other hand installs CAB via mouse double-click. Of course you have to first highlight a CAB followed by a mouse double-click or highlight CAB then press Enter. Good? Bad? Not interested?
