Making Nokia J2ME Softs compatible w/ JMM for MS Smartphones
Here's a trick for you to be able to play Nokia based Java Games on your phone. Full keypad and sound support.

Info:

JAR - Compiled instructions, containing the whole program, binaries, libraries etc. Holder is a ZIP Compression scheme, which is compatible with WinZIP

JMM - Java Midlet Manager, a J2ME Emulator for the MS Smartphone, V600 java apps would run on your smartphone, since its the most closest in terms of specs but with the lack of keypad support, and the development is not restricted with propriety libraries likes of Nokia.

In theory all J2ME games should be intercompatible with ANY J2ME Emulator. So whats missing?

The Nokia COM files :D this is by defualt is in every Nokia Phones, and included in the SDK (which is free to download) so i dont think there's any legality concerning it.

Download Here:

Making Nokia Games Compatible with JMM (DeltaMIDP, JAVAMAN, ETC):

Example file is SnowboardExtreme.jar (defualt Nokia Game)

Steps:

1. Rename SnowboardExtreme.jar to SnowboardExtreme.zip
2. Unzip SnowboardExtreme.zip to c:\SnowboardExtreme
Now you should get something like Folders and files (METAINF Folders, etc etc)
3. Unzip Nokiacom.zip to c:\NokiaCOM (Containing a COM Folder)
4. Browse to c:\NokiaCOM then copy the folder COM to c:\SnowboardExtreme and replace any files or folders.
5. Browse to c:\SnowboardExtreme
a. Highlight all the files and folders (or press Ctrl-A)
b. Right click any of the file, select add to Zip
c. When prompted to enter a Filename Enter SnowboardExtremeSP.zip
d. Rename SnowboardExtremeSP.zip to SnowboardExtremeSP.jar
6. Install SnowboardExtremeSP.jar on your JMM
7. Run SnowboardExtreme, you should now be able to hear and see the running credits of Nokia on your MS Smartphone.

In a nutshell:
You just need to unzip the JAR, then copy the COM folder from my NokiaCom.zip replacing/updating any existing folder/files in the games folder. Afterwhich just zip it all back, then rename it back to JAR.

Java games for the Series60 works extremely well, you could also try the ones for Series40 sometimes the screen is crappy, but sometimes its not.

I know i've already posted this, last year (if i did sorry for the double post), anyways when my SAP went dead I guess i forgot to post it. Goodluck
