Kad i kako je Google nastao?
Google je nastao 1998. godine kao studentki projekat Lerija Pejdza i Sergeja Brina na Stanfordu. [Kako je izgledala jedna od prvih naslovnih strana]
Sergej i Leri su na prvom svom pretraivacu radili od pocetka 1996 godine (Projekat BackRub), ali su na nagovor suosnivaca Yahoo-a, Dejvida Filoa odlucili da osnuju kompaniju Google inc.
Kljucni momenti u razvoju Googla?
Verovatno najvazniji dogadjaj u istoriji Googla, desio se 2000. godine kada su u dogovoru sa Yahoo zamenili Inktomi search koji je godinama dobavljao rezultate pretrage. Samim tim AOL, Netscape, Freeserve, BBC i mnogi drugi su presli na Google i krajem te godine kompanija preuzima lidersku poziciju medju web pretrazivacima sa preko 50% udela u ukupnom trzistu.
